Objectives

1. To find the effect of yogic practices on

flexibility.

2.To find out the comparative picture of

effect of yogic practices on static & dynamic

flexibility.

Research Methodology

The primary data was collected with the help

of practical classes and based on the

observation of yogic practices and its pre and

post effect. The sample size is 80

respondents. 40 girls and 40 boys. The survey

was conducted in the various schools of

DAV. The place of research work is Ajmer (

Rajasthan). The sampling techniques were

random sampling. The data is analyzed by

computing the descriptive statistics and

comparative statistics; Paired T-Test, Mean

and Standard Deviation. The level of

significance chosen on the basis of

hypothesis is 0.05.

The means and standard deviations for pre

and post test of Static Flexibility Test- Shoulder, Class XI (Girls) it was found that

the score of the subjects was normal as per

the national standards in pre test, difference

is very significant as the score is in seconds

centimeters, hence it could be said that the

yogic practice has improved the static

flexibility-shoulder of the subjects. The

standard deviation in pre and post test was

more or less same which suggests that the

scores did not variate much among the

subjects in pre as well as post test being from

the same age group and sex.
