Abstract

Reciprocal teaching is defined as a discussion between the teacher and the students (or the student leader and other group members) that teaches them how to interpret texts when they are required to read. It gives pupils access to four distinct, focused reading techniques that they can utilize to process texts actively. Clarifying, predicting, asking questions, and summarizing are some of these reading techniques. The present article focuses on how reciprocal teaching strategy can be used to enhance the language skills among secondary level English language learners.
