Abstract

The human body is intended to experience stress and respond to it.  Stress may be of two types, namely, one is positive and other is negative. Positive stress keeps people alert, motivated and prepared to maintain a strategic distance from risk, whereas the negative stressmakes people face continuous difficulties, both mental and physical, without relief, absorbs energy and results in lower productivity and less efficiency.  Occupational stress is a stress interrelated to one’s job.
