Abstract
The article highlights the teachings about happiness based on the philosophical heritage of the monuments “Epic of Gilgamesh”, “Avesta” and such thinkers as Abu Nasr Farabi and Abu Ali Ibn Sina. Also, from a socio-philosophical point of view, the specific decision and modernity of the views and ideas of great thinkers on the problem of the unity of happiness of the individual and society is analyzed.
