Abstract
Quality being the key to survival and prosperity. The paper schematically illustrates its role in the process for survival. Its objectives can be sustained only through economic prosperity and in a socio-economic environment. Its cause factor is conductive linking environment, stakeholder through 3M’s and one P. thus to meet requirements of quality, new thought processes, methods and techniques have emerged in known as TQM. TQM includes T-total men including stakeholder Q-quality assurance system and M-Management to trigger large scale improvement in industry award scheme for excellence in Total Quality (TQ) of business is promoted by EU and countries and other nations content of TQM is crucial and pressing need to create and expand a new generation of TQ professionals to promote TQ.
