Abstract
To well understand and analytically study of financial performance of a company, the ratio analysis aids the financial data interpreter. The various financial ratios like profitability, liquidity, solvency, management efficiency ratio etc facilitate the users of the financial data to make analytical financial study of a company. The aim of the present study is to help the readers to understand the various financial ratios and trend projections with the help of case study of NTPC. In the present study the NTPC financial ratios are compared from the period of 2007-08 to 2016-17 and with the help of graphical presentation trend projections are discussed in detail.
