Abstract
Shankar Nag is a famous actor and director what Kannada Cinema Industry had seen. Even after 28years of his death, any growth or public debate in Kannada film industry we can feel his relevance. Till today he is a role model to many and it is a mirror to his personality. All his movies are relevant to the present life also. Most of the movies of the present time are failing to create positive approach to audience and are not influencing audience. But the movies directed by Shankar Nag are still relevant and throws light on values of life. They remain eternal in memory of audience and make them to think in right direction of life. Now it is a responsibility for upcoming directors to think in this aspect and should follow steps of Shankar Nag to educate audience. The movies of Shankar Nag’s were informative, educative and created awareness in the social and political aspects of society. They are mirror to the creative and novel ideas of Shankar Nag.the creative and novel ideas came through R. K.
