- The main theme is to ascertain the connection between demographic factors with that of the QoL of the leather business employees. QoL is studied from the aspect of various dimensions of life such as quality of work-life and non-work life. Data for the study was gathered from over 250 leather industry workers employed in various leather-based companies in the leather industrial cluster area i.e., Vellore, Tamil Nadu. It is analyzed through the reliability and KMO & Bartlett’s tests for the confirmation of the validity of the instrument. One-way ANOVA is used to measure the connection between the demographics & the QoL. It has been identified that monthly income and number of dependents play a significant role with the QoL, while the age group and experience were significantly related only to the QWL. Suggestions such as the making available the monetary benefits and reducing the family work conflict to improve the QoL of the workers are provided.
