Abstract

Online purchase has become the most convenient method of purchasing than the traditional purchase, and nowadays it become more popular in India and worldwide. Price is comparatively lower than the market and more verities are available in online, it saves time and money. Consumer perception applies the concept of sensory perception to marketing and advertising. Just as sensory perception relates to how humans perceive and process sensory stimuli through their five senses, consumer perception pertains to how individuals form opinions about companies and the merchandise they offer through the purchases they make. Online purchase saves the people the drudgery of hopping from one shop to another to buy the items they require. However, with so many online retailers selling a large variety of products, it becomes impossible for even online shoppers to decide what to buy, and from where.  225 questionnaire were issued for data collection, out of it 208 collected back. Eight questionnaire were not filled in proper manner, finally 200 questionnaire were selected for this study. Master table prepared in MS excel and uploaded to SPSS for further analysis. Researcher concluded that the sample respondents perceived the above while buying products through online.  All the branded and non branded manufactures are selling their products through online, number of online buying consumers also increasing. These activities will increase in future; it helps to get the products from anywhere India.
