Abstract
Present research has been carried out to compare the sports achievement motivation of male and female north zone basketball players. For the purpose of this investigation 200 subjects (100 male and 100 female) were selected from the North-Zone Intervarsity Basketball Championship. Their age ranged from 18 to 25 years. The data on Sports achievement motivation was obtained by using questionnaire developed by Kamlesh (1991). The test was used to analyze the obtained data. Results indicated that no significant difference was found between male and female north zone basketball players in their sports achievement motivation at 0.05 level of significance.
