This paper deals with content, meaning and explanation of medical social work. It outlines the social work scenario in hospital settings and clinical intervention on the part of the social workers and skills and abilities required for medical social work. This paper makes a special note on problems and challenges in medical social work. This paper concluded with some interesting findings.
