Abstract
Indian English literature is a challenge over the nature, personality and eventually fate of contemporary India. Generally, the practical, advanced, pessimistic mode followed for the initial three decades of post-freedom is offering path to a non-illustrative, unsure and hopeful literature. Yet, the genuine test to the scholars of today face is the upheld homogenisation and institutionalization of culture because of globalization and the new, simple and shallow internationalism which entices Indian English authors to advertise themselves. Then again Australian literature developed with the occurence to the pioneers, as the indigenous individuals didn't have a composed content or literature. From the diaries of the pilgrims to the shrub ditties to the literature of national cognizance, Australian literature created alongside the socio-political advancements in the nation.
