Abstract
The present paper is a modest attempt to study the present scenario of Quality of Indian conventional higher education system with special reference to Uttarakhand state. The study is conducted to analyze the usefulness and effectiveness of the Indian higher education system and to study the extent to which it is developing human resource. The students registered for higher education i.e., (B.A, B.COM, B.SC, M.A, M.COM, and M.SC) in the universities, colleges and other educational Institutions became the part of the study. These courses have been referred as conventional education system as they are being run by educational institutions since long years even since decades.
