Abstract
The present review is an attempt to compile information related to causes and of cervical cancer. The increasing number of deaths occurring globally because of cervical cancer gives researchers opportunities to explore more on this topic. Many studies have concluded that persistent infection with human papillomavirus (HPV) is the main cause of the cervical cancer in women. As the number of cervical cancer is increasing every year, for that numbers of diagnostics methods available are also discussed here in present study.
