Abstract
Isolation of Azotobacter biofertilizer from paddy field soil were investigated by three dilution factors like 10-4, 10-5 and 10-6 was 03, 06 and 07 colonies were recorded with respective paddy field. Identification of Azotobacter from biochemical analysis with Azotobacter sp, Azotobacter chrococcum and Azotobact vinelandi were conformed with standard Bergy’s Manual of Determination Bacteriology. Among the Azotobacter three species, the Azotobacter chrococcum has more potential strain when compared with other strains of biofertilizer. The effect of culture filtrate of biofertilizer against Xanthomonas oryzae were performed. As per the different concentrations of 5, 10, 15 and 20% were treated but higher concentration of 20% has excellent performance than the lower concentration of potential antagonistic bacterial biofertilizer.
