Abstract
Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by narrowing of airways leading to recurrent attacksof breathlessness and wheezing. The mainobjective of the present study wasto evaluate the risk factors, rate of severity and type of effective medicament employed in various age groups along with treatment patterns and awareness of asthma among people. Furthermore,this study also reviewed the implementation of WHO policies regarding asthma.
