Abstract
Lord of the Flies is the first and the most acknowledged novel written by the Nobel Prize laureate and author William Golding. It is an allegorical novel published in 1954. It discusses how culture created by man fails, as evil becomes the dominant force using an example of a group of British school-boys stuck on a deserted island who try to govern themselves with disastrous results
